F-Body Nationals in Memphis September 2017

The F-Body Nationals is a new major motorsports event to be held in Memphis TN in September of 2017. The event will be a celebration of 50 years of Camaro and Firebird cars. As a result, thousands of owners are expected to bring their pride and joy cars to this weekend party.
Here are a few of the highlights and features you’ll see when you get there.
Car Show
This fun-fest will include a car show open to all generations of 1967-2018 F-Body models. Four classes will be judged: Stock, Street, Modified and Platinum. It will also be divided into 5 generations of Camaro and 4 generations of Firebird.
Drag Racing
There will also be drag racing. Class divisions include DOT Street, Junior and Super Eliminator, as well as fun runs and exhibition runs. Organizers are offering a total of $3,000 in prize money and trophies for winners and runners-up spread across the classes. All JEGS F-Body Nationals Drag Racing will be 1/4 mile in length. Tech, test-&-tune, & qualifying will start each morning at 9 am. Eliminations will start at noon, and finals will start prior to 5 pm . Racing will conclude at 6 pm.
Swap Meet
There will be thousands of car parts, documents, insignia, and hard-to-find F-Body items. Booth after booth will be lined up around the raceway. Probably showing just what you need to complete your project. Whether you want to buy or sell, this swap meet will be a great opportunity to transfer ownership.
Win a 1967 Camaro
The F-Body Nationals Golden Star Auto Giveaway will be a 1967 Camaro. Anyone registered as a participant for the show can win it. The most noteworthy rule is that ONLY those who are registered for the show are eligible. Get registered early. It would look great in your driveway!
